IT Strategic Planning
Service Code :
he IT (Information Technology) Directorate or Division is the main stakeholder who plays a significant role, apart from the business that is at the forefront. To support CSP (Corporate Strategic Planning), companies must make several other strategic plans such as ITSP (IT Strategic Planning), Human Capital Strategic Planning and others. For the banking industry in Indonesia, regulators such as the OJK (Financial Services Authority) mandate that ITSPs must be created and implemented consistently by commercial banks.
ITSP should be made concurrently or not too long since the CSP is completed. Why is that? Because the success of achieving CSP targets is closely related to investment in the implementation of information technology.
For example in the banking industry, IT strategic plans cover important aspects such as:
- IT Vision and Mission in supporting the company goals outlined in the CSP
- Various IT-related architectures for example:
- Application Architecture, Data Architecture and their relationships
- Infrastructure Architecture includes topology, connectivity, information flow both in Data Center, DRC and Area Development
- Security Infrastructure Architecture includes topology, connectivity between security devices, balancers and other equipment
- LAN (Local Area Network) and WAN (Wide Area Network) Architecture in DC/DRC, Big Offices, Branches and other important parts
- Organization Architecture related to Human Capital
- Important IT processes from planning, application development, operations to control
We are experienced in creating and managing information systems and as consultants in making ITSP or IT Blueprints in several companies. There is quite a lot of important information in the form of insights that people rarely understand in achieving the successful implementation of the ITSP/IT Blueprint.
We conduct a thorough assessment and find out who needs to be interviewed, the facts that must be obtained, the problems that often occur and must be eliminated, the obstacles that are often faced by the company so that the ITSP / IT Blueprint fails to be implemented and various other ways which is very useful for our clients.
